CREEP Premier Pictures!

Last night was the premier for CREEP! Was tight. So yesterday I finished up the credits and rendered all the sections so I could get the premier disc made and get a few more copies made to sell at the premier. Got the premier disc and 7 others made. Made it to the shop and had to wait about 30 mins longer for Chad and Kenny to get there before we could start the video. After the menu played about 100 times Kenny and Chad finally arrived. Video started, Video ended. Hope everyone liked it, everyone worked hard to get it done. Big thank you to everyone who came out to watch the video and a big thanks to James and Gretchen of Rev Blade Shop for being juiced and letting me have the premier there. EVEN BIGGER THANKS to the cool kids who showed up only for the Truth2 and not my video. But really, thank you to everyone who came and everyone who liked it enough to buy a copy!

Yesterday Myself, Ryan, and Kenny went out to get clips to wrap up CREEP. Picked up Ryan and headed to Kennys house to pick up my camera and then we headed to a spot I went to with Ryan the day before but the camera died and it got dark outside. Ryan and Kenny each got a clip then we went Mcdonalds to get some drinkage and fryage and age. We thought of where to go next for a while and ended up driving around looking for stuff until we headed to the biltmore area so Ryan could get another clip. Guess what, Ryan got a clip. Kenny was pretty much passed out in my backseat from here on out and then we drove around Downtown Phoenix looking for an ender for Ryan, no luck. Think we drove around for a while more, missed the street for Deck Park twice so decided to say fuck it and head back because it was getting pretty dark out. FUN AND FUN = FUN.

Today I headed out to Mesa to blade with Sergio Ybarra. He came over and picked me up around 11 in the morning and we headed out to get clips so I can finish up the friends section for CREEP. We went to this stupid square rail thing, which wasn’t a very good warm up spot so we decided to go to ‘Tempe 2′, which is basically a skatepark that is just one big bowl. We got there and there was a Mexican family chilling out down in the bowl, once Sergio started blading around they got out and started to idolize Sergio as the Mexican God he really is. Sergio did a few tricks and rolled around to get warmed up to go somewhere else. We decided to go to The Wedge after that, which is where we met up with Taylor Monnig. Sergio got some clips on the square rail at the park and then we decided to ride in one car with Taylor to save some gas/following. Luke gave me a call and said he was at his new house in Tempe so we went out and picked him up. After that, we went to this down rail that goes into a lake. Taylor got a sweet clip and some falls there and then we left. We got back in the car and checked out a rail we saw from the side of the street, but the rail doesn’t have any run up. Then Luke and Sergio debated rather we go to ASU or Apache Junction. Because the sun was going down we headed to ASU because it was a lot closer. Got to ASU and Luke got a clip on a steep downledge. The sun was pretty much down so we decided to call it a night and all got dropped off!

Blade Edit #17 – Little White Rails/HV30

First time I’ve made something with a camera besides my gl2 since 2007. Filmed with the Canon HV30 that is so popular right now. Pretty short little edit, mostly just wanted to make something to see how it would turn out with the different camera.

Yesterday I met up with Luke and Jacey at Tatum Ledges/Wash Ledges. Luke wanted to get some lines for his section to take up more time, so I took a few warm up pictures of him and Jacey and then started filming. Luke ended up getting one line and Jacey got one too. After that we drove to Pima Church to meet up with Taylor…but shit was too cold so I left!

Went out today with Kenny and Chad to try and make another little edit. Went to some low line rails Chad spotted, was in the ghetto and was not working out. Drove around and found some bank ledge things and got some SLICK STUFFZ there. Edit sometime soon.
